Earl Fuller's Novelty Orchestra

Earl Fuller's Novelty Orchestra

Earl Fuller was an American society dance band leader, drummer and pianist.

His group "Earl Fuller's Rector Novelty Orchestra" was a regular feature at Rector's restaurant in New York City. Their records were released on Victor Records, Columbia Records, Emerson Records and Edison Records and sold well from 1918 to 1920. His other ensemble was "Earl Fuller's Famous Jazz Band" which helped popularize dance band trends of that period. This band included Walter Kahn on cornet, Harry Raderman on trombone, Ted Lewis on clarinet and John Lucas on drums, and later, with the addition of other members, it went on to become the popular Ted Lewis orchestra.
