D4L is a rap group from Atlanta, Georgia who are best known for their #1 hit Laffy Taffy. The members are Fabo, Mook B., Stoney (aka Stuntman) and Shawty Lo, Fabo being the most known out of the group with his outspoken and outgoing personality and lifestyle. They are considered by some as one of the pioneers of Snap Music.

Controversy surrounds the group, as there have been disputes with Liam "Smack Eyes" Thomas, who claims to have written the lyrics for "Laffy Taffy," alleging that they stole the rhymes from his rhyme book. The case is expected to go to court in late 2007.

The group was dissed by Hip-Hop Veteran Ghostface Killah a member of the legendary Hip-Hop group the Wu-Tang Clan. Ghostface says D4L is killing Hip-Hop. Ghostface is known to be a supporter of Hip-Hop veteran Nas, who claims that Hip Hop is dead.
