Nederlandstalige rockband uit Tilburg, die aanvankelijk heftige grungerock maakt maar later meer de popkant opgaat en daardoor een groter publiek trekt.
Vals Licht wordt in oktober 1994 opgericht door Tony de Bruijn, Patrick de Kok en Johann de Groot. Ze wonen al sinds hun kindertijd bij elkaar in dezelfde straat te Tilburg. De band laat zich inspireren door grunge (de 'Seattle-sound') en Frank Boeijen. De demo Een Moment valt positief op in zowel regionale als landelijke popbladen.
