De Urban Heroes uit Den Haag gaan goed van start begin jaren tachtig met een aantal hitsingles in Nederland en interesse vanuit Amerika. Het succes blijkt echter niet van lange duur. De groep ondergaat vele bezettingswisselingen en afsplitsingen naar andere bands. Ze houden het meerdere malen voor gezien en beginnen even vaak weer opnieuw.
