Raúl Orellana became a successful Spanish house producer when his single "The Real Wild House" entered the international club charts in 1989. In 1990, he co-wrote and produced Spain's Eurovision entry, a fusion of house and flamenco, "Bandido" with sisters Azúcar Moreno came 5th in the contest and launched the duo internationally. Orellana released the album Crossover in 1991, featuring the vocals of Jocelyn Brown on four tracks, including the single release "Gipsy Rhythm". After another international club hit, 1993's Guitarra, Orellana has mainly been working as a DJ, remixer and executive on the Blanco y Negro record label. |
