Katastroof is een Belgische muziekgroep. De leden zingen in het Antwerps en hun teksten gaan vooral over de hypocrisie van de kerk, vrouwen, seks en alcohol. De groep werd in 1977 in Antwerpen opgericht. De intentie was om een éénmalig optreden te geven maar de band bleef bestaan.

Qua muziekstijl is Katastroof geneigd tot experimenteren met onder andere rap, reggae en rock 'n roll, meestal in de humoristische sfeer, maar de favoriete stijl is folk. Deze stijl is ook het meest geliefd bij de fans. De groepsleden maken vaak gebruik van folk instrumenten.
