Austin Roberts

Born: 1945 in Newport News, VA

Austin Roberts is well-known to mainstream music fans for his two huge hits, "Rocky" which reached Billboard #9 and "Something's Wrong With Me" which reached #12. But he is much more that a "two-hit wonder." Austin has contributed his talents as a singer, songwriter or producer to countless great recordings. He has also had collaborations and/or friendships with many other multi-talented artists whose names are mostly known by their few big hits but who similarly made contributions to other recordings, including Johnny Cymbal, Bill Deal, Robert John, Kenny O'Dell, Steve Barri, Cashman/Pistilli/West, Anders/Poncia, Tommy Boyce, James Griffin, Freddy Weller and numerous others. This group is dedicated to the discovery, study and appreciation of their contributions to pop music.
