Ed & Willem Bever are two ‘technical’ characters of the famous Dutch kids program “De Fabeltjeskrant”. They repair everything that is broken. “De Fabeltjeskrant” is a puppet television show, started from 1968 where different animals, lived in the “grote Dierenbos”. They have all kinds of adventiures, told by “Meneer de Uil” who read those newsitems from the newspaper. The serie is based upon the French stories from Jean de la Fontaine. Each episode lasted 5 minutes, bedtime stories for kids. Other important figures are: “Juffrouw Ooievaar”, “Zoef de Haas”, “Bor de Wolf” The complete series lasted 4 years and counted 1041 episodes. |
