Mark Murphey

Mark William Murphey was raised in Nocona, Texas. He's married with two children. Mark has played guitar with his father at local Jamborees fromage 12, and began singing at age 18 years. He has performed with Ricky Skaggs, Ronnie Milsap, Alabama, Keith Whitley, Patty Loveless, Willie Nelson, Exile, Pirates of the Mississippi, Diamond Rio, Brooks and Dunn, Billy Dean, Mark Chesnutt, Holly Dunn, Hal Ketchum, Trisha Yearwood, McBride and The Ride, Steve Wariner, Tanya Tucker, Vince Gill, Tracy Lawrence, Clay Walker, Heath Wright(richochet), The Maines Brothers, John Anderson, The Belemy Brothers, Mark Collie, Shelly West, Asleep At The Wheel, Gene Watson, Billy Joe Royal, Earl Thomas Conely, Confederate Rail Road, Juice Newton, Tracey Byrd and many others. Mark's career as a singer-songwriter spans the past three decades and he is also a multi instrumentalist including Guitar, mandolin, banjo , dobro, pedal steel, piano and several other specialty instruments . Mark no longer tours, but chooses to play mostly Texas and Oklahoma venues staying close to home and his active kids.
